Excursion by the University of Wuppertal

As part of an excursion in December 2025, students from the University of Wuppertal (Bergische Universität Wuppertal - BUW), led by guest lecturer Dr. Michael Kroh from Vorwerk, visited ENTEX in Bochum. The informal aim was to learn about the Planetary Roller Extruder and its areas of application. They were accompanied by our colleagues Marc Waffenschmidt and Thomas Malzahn.

The students are all enrolled as mechanical engineers specialising in plastics
technology. For further information please see in the comments. In addition to visiting the technical centre, they also visited individual departments such as the gear technology department and the spark erosion department.

It was important for ENTEX to show the students the diversity that exists in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, but also to show them the challenges that can be expected in the future.

Thank you all for visiting our Headquarter in Bochum.
Hope you enjoyed the excursion.
