Insights from RUB on the Planetary Roller Extruder

Driving Innovation Together. Prof. Marcus Petermann, Head of the Chair of Particle Technology (Lehrstuhl für Feststoffverfahrenstechnik) at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), visited us once again to present insights into his current and previous research projects.

Sebastian Rust, Frank Asmuss, and Thomas Malzahn followed his presentation with great interest. Especially in challenging times, representatives from academia and industry alike are called upon to further strengthen Germany’s position as a business and innovation hub, ensuring that future generations are well prepared for global competition.

The operation of an 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗫 𝟳𝟬 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿 in the RUB laboratories provides an ideal platform for close collaboration — whether in the field of chemical recycling or polymerization. Academic work, such as doctoral and master’s theses, also makes a valuable contribution to reinforcing Bochum’s standing as a center of research and industry.

Both parties remain committed to continuing and further deepening this successful partnership.
