Mechanical Engineering Meets the Pharmaceutical Science
In early July 2026, Christoph Hüppe and Thomas Malzahn, employees of ENTEX Rust & Mitschke GmbH, visited PhD student Nadine Kubina to wish her every success with her doctoral research at the Chair of Solid-State Process Engineering at TU Dortmund University.

Inga Gipperich, from the Finance and Procurement Department’s Division of Third-Party Funding Management and Legal Matters in Research of TU Dortmund University, was also present during the tour of the laboratories, specifically the extrusion room.
The collaboration between the two organisations, negotiated by the department, is aimed squarely at preparing the next generation of academics for the international market.
Nadine Kubina will carry out her PhD research using an ENTEX 30-M2 planetary roller granulator, with the aim of achieving significant milestones in the field of pharmaceutical process engineering, specifically in melt granulation.

Research Award 2025
