Planetary Roller Extruder meets young pharmacists

In August 2025, Dr. Michael Burgfeld, Head of the Technical Centre, welcomed intern and doctoral student Nadine Kubina, M.Sc., from the Technical University of Dortmund to the premises of ENTEX Rust & Mitschke GmbH in Bochum.

The trained pharmacist, who is based at the Chair of Solids Process Engineering in Dortmund, is completing an internship at ENTEX to prepare for future tasks during her doctoral studies. To this end, an ENTEX 30 Planetary Roller Extruder will be making its way to the chair in Dortmund this autumn.

Exciting and interesting experiments are expected to complete the scientific work and gain further insights into the dispersion and homogenisation of pharmaceutical substances. We wish our intern every success in her upcoming work.
