ENTEX congratulates Dr.-Ing. Mario Radwan

Polymers hit the Planetary Roller Extruder - On 29 April 2024, ENTEX Rust & Mitschke GmbH warmly congratulated the doctoral candidate on passing his doctoral examination. As part of his work as a doctoral candidate, Mr. Radwan investigated the scalability of Planetary Roller Extruders (PRE). With the title of his thesis "Development and validation of scaling algorithms and prediction models for the extrusion of thermoplastic polymers in Planetary Roller Extruders" he spent almost three and a half years at the Chair of Particle Technology, working group Virtualisation of Process Technology. We would like to pay tribute to his extraordinary achievements.

  • Excursion by the University of Wuppertal

    As part of an excursion in December 2025, students from the University of Wuppertal (Bergische UniversitΓ€t Wuppertal - BUW), led by guest lecturer Dr. Michael Kroh from Vorwerk, visited ENTEX in Bochum. The informal aim was to learn about the Planetary Roller Extruder and its areas of application. They were accompanied by our colleagues Marc Waffenschmidt and Thomas Malzahn.
