German engineering meets swiss precision

For an international customer, PeToFix AG from Switzerland was able to carry out trials for the continuous production of adhesives at ENTEX Rust & Mitschke GmbH in Bochum. ENTEX's planetary roller extruder offers an alternative production technology for reactive adhesives and sealants. The tests were carried out with moisture-curing adhesives based on hybrid polymers. Overall, the trials were very successful, so that further trials are planned. In particular, the high scalability of the production masses on the same aggregate, the in-process drying of the fillers and the rapid transition to different colourings (e.g. white/grey) appear very interesting for the production of adhesives.
