RUB and TU Dortmund meet at the ENTEX Technical Centre

As part of his work as head of the Technical Centre, Dr Mathias Zabel supervises his two students Tom Lang and Marie Kluitmann. Tom Lang from the TU Dortmund, chemical engineering studies, is a guest at ENTEX with his master's thesis: Systematic investigation of continuous melt granulation with planetary roller systems. Several test series were run in order to arrive at an optimal observation of the granulation. In the context of her master's thesis, Marie Kluitmann wrote the topic: Conducting scaling tests on planetary roller extruders using polypropylene as an application example. She is studying mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum, specialising in energy and process engineering. Ideal conditions for ENTEX as the RUB also has a laboratory roller extruder on its premises. Helping to train the next generation of scientists continues to be part of the company's philosophy.
