Teltex Food & Additives at ENTEX

The two managing directors Frank Straubel and Bernd Wirbs from Teltex, Food Components GmbH from Nuthetal visited ENTEX Rust & Mitschke GmbH from Bochum. The newly founded company succeeds IGV FOODTECH GmbH at the same location and has a 70-series planetary roller extruder with four modules and a patented radial pelletiser at its heart. The start-up company aims to produce and distribute various additives for the European food market. Due to the very low shear processing within the Planetary Roller Extruder and its very constant temperature control, this plant technology is of great benefit. The scientific director of Teltex, Dr. Jürgen Volk, will visit us in the future with recipes, test runs and a maintenance concept for the existing Planetary Roller Extruder, and to further deepen the cooperation that has begun.
